In the fall of 1977 several TEKE mothers desiring to become a closer group and interested in providing for the special needs of the TKE house formed the TKE Mom’s Club. In the fall of 2009 the name will change to TKE Parent’s Club. The Parent’s Club will continue the traditions of Mom’s and Dad’s weekend events. The club meets twice a year; at the Alpha Lambda Family Weekend in the fall and in the spring at the Mom’s Weekend. The club is funded in two ways, the dues paid by each family and the Silent Auction in the spring. The Parent’s Club funds the TKE Parent’s Club Scholarship, sponsors a hole at the Alpha Lambda golf tournament, provides finals week treat bags, as well as other special needs of the TKE house. We hope to have many opportunities for parents and family to assist the TKE house, it is a great way to be involved in your son’s college and fraternity experience.
